IS YOUR SERVICE COVID SAFE?

 

Yes! Because gatherings are our passion, we have come up with some creative and tasty solutions to keep you and your guests safe. Our clean food and sanitizing practices have always been paramount at every event we are invited to. Amidst the current covid crisis, we would like to offer a new approach to Hawt gatherings. Our entire team will wear PPE during our service at your event. For our buffet package, we will now provide a buffet manager that will serve your guests your offerings from the buffet table. If you decide on additional food items for an "appetizer" or "cocktail" hour service, we will offer a pre-plated menu that our buffet manager will hand to each guest. This service does create additional time which we have reflected in the pricing of our items. We will also request that guests wear masks when they approach the buffet table. Of course we are here to serve you, and we are happy to work with you to come up with solutions to food safety protocols that work for your event. WHATS ON THE MENU?

 

Well, the star of the show is our mouthwatering artisan wood fired pizza. We offer Italian classics like pizza margherita, along with some new favorites like the creamy New Mexico White. All of our pizzas are made to order and cooked onsite in our 100% wood fueled Italian mobile oven. Each pizza cooks perfectly in about 90 seconds or less. In addition to pizza, our offerings include traditional Italian appetizers, gourmet salads, classic desserts and our signature drinks. WILL HAWT PIZZA CO. BRING EVERYTHING WE NEED TO EAT AT MY EVENT?

Yup, we sure will. Whether you are hosting a humble backyard gathering or planning the most elegant of weddings, a beautiful serving arrangement will be set including modern serving platters and our premium single use, eco friendly disposable plates, cutlery, napkins, cups and anything else needed to eat our food at your event. Additional disposables like matching cake plates are available to add to your package, and we offer upgrades too. HOW MUCH ROOM DO I NEED TO ACCOMMODATE THE HAWT OVEN SETUP?

For most events, our entire setup, oven included requires about 10' x 20' of space. If you would like our gorgeous Hawt oven and open style kitchen to be the center of attention, our trailer requires a 10'-12' opening (big enough for a full size truck) so it can be pulled into a backyard or gated area. If there is not access to the serving area we can setup our oven and kitchen in another onsite location and have our team run pizzas to the desired dining area. We don't mind a little bit of a slanted view, but please keep in mind that we need a somewhat level area for our setup to flow smoothly. Contact us if you have any additional questions, or to discuss the logistics of our setup at your event.

WHAT DOES THE HAWT OVEN SETUP INCLUDE, AND WHAT DO I NEED TO PROVIDE?

Our setup includes The Hawt Oven, our canopy and our kitchen tables and equipment. We may need access to electricity, however we will provide our own extension cord. You will be responsible for providing the buffet tables and linens if you choose that package, or order additional food items. We will let you know how many tables you will need, if any, on your quote. Upon the close of our service, we will clean up our area and the buffet tables including boxing up any leftovers, and we will dispose of our own trash at our kitchen. We do not offer clean up services for your guest tables or trash disposal of anything except our kitchen waste basket. MY WEDDING IS GOING TO BE A FORMAL EVENT. HOW WILL PIZZA FIT IN?

Our catering manager will work with you or your event planner to customize a timeline, menu and serving style to fit your wedding perfectly.

MY VENUE IS not in the city limits. WILL THE HAWT OVEN TEAM TRAVEL TO MY EVENT?

It's definitely a yes on this one. We've been known to roll our deliciousness to some pretty interesting venues including Magdalena, Taos, Villanueva, Los Alamos, Sipapu and many other parts of our enchanted state. We will travel within the Albuquerque metro area without adding any charges, and for events outside of this area we will add a trip charge depending on the distance from our kitchen. Contact us to check availability on your event's date, and if you have questions about travel to your venue.

what if the weather is bad the day of my event?

 

We can serve pizza in light rain and snow only. We will make EVERY effort to make your event should it rain or snow. In the case of extreme weather cancellations, we will reschedule your event and apply your deposit in full to another event.

 

*Please note that since 2011, we have never had to cancel an event due to inclement weather.
